Seen on the Red Line to Howard at about 7:45 p.m., May 14th, 2013

The gap between her two front teeth is the reason Jorie can’t keep a secret. It’s far too wide; confidences simply whistle through before she can stop them. This is not to say that Jorie is distrustworthy. She’s a loyal friend. Moving out of your apartment? Jorie will drop whatever she’s doing and help. She’ll even volunteer to walk backwards down the stairs with your couch. Need a hug? Jorie has hugs down to a science—squeeze tight but not too tight, hold long but not too long. If you want something buried to stay buried, however, find someone else.

A drabble for today. Tomorrow I'm heading to Florida with my family to do a stroke research 5K in memory of my wonderful Aunt Tracy. So I'll be on vacation until the 22nd. Hence, the blog posting may be a little haphazard. I'll try to write when I can.
