Seen waiting for the Brown Line to Kimball at about 8:15 a.m.

This is how you play Lawrence’s game: the platform is a desert (even when it’s cold), and the roaring trains are vicious beasts. You have to jump inside them to kill them, but you can only kill one. The blue lumpy stuff near the edges is a snake; you’ll die if you step on it and then you’ll lose. The metal beams and columns are cactuses (even when it’s cold). You can hide behind them, and you won’t lose if you hide. If the desert is too big, or if the beasts are too loud and scary, you can always end the game by shouting: “Mommy! Where are you?”

This kid's actual name was Lawrence. I heard his mom yelling for him after he called out for her. I had a busy and fun weekend full of relatives. Kind of looking forward to taking it easy this week and coming weekend. We shall see...
